Fundraising in St Marks

St Mark’s High School is Catholic community built on values of: love of God, justice, concern for the poor and disadvantaged. We are committed to helping others in the world who are less fortunate and those who need our support. St Marks hold numerous fundraising events throughout the year. These events include: The annual fast for Trocaire, SVDP hampers, cake sales, balloon release, Christmas Jumper day, and many more. We try to support a number of different charities and organisations on a local, national and international level. The pupils play a vital role in the Fundraising Committee and all our efforts are based on The Golden Rule:

“Treat your neighbour as yourself” (The Golden Rule)

St. Mark’s has a long history of providing care and support to the people of Naro Muro, Kenya.

In 2017, 9 pupils and 4 staff travelled to Kenya to build a classroom, plough fields and teach in the local community school.

The experience truly was once in a lifetime for the pupils involved.
